The name of Veni Oktaviani, a student at Raden Intan Lampung State Islamic University (UIN), went viral, apparently because of this.

The viral name made the public curious, so it trended on social media. Even the name Veni Oktaviani appeared in the current top searches, Friday.

Based on media research, this beautiful woman's name is in the spotlight because she is in love with a lecturer known as Suhardiansyah als SYH.

Not only that, the two of them were raided by residents at the Bahtera Indah Sejahtera housing complex, Sukarame, Bandar Lampung. Even though Suhardiansyah already has a legal wife.

Because of this, their names have now become a hot topic of conversation and the spotlight on social media platforms.

After being raided by residents, the two couples were handed over to the police. And this caused a stir among local residents and went viral on social media.

From the results of the examination, both of them admitted that they often committed lewd acts and had had sexual intercourse at least six times.

Head of Public Relations of the Lampung Regional Police, Kombes Umi Fadillah Astutik, said that a number of pieces of evidence were secured with the couple from SYH's residence.

"As for the evidence that was secured, one box of magic tissue which was still wrapped, one used plastic tissue, cream colored underwear and one black negligee with a floral pattern," he said.

Umi explained that the two of them were detained by residents and then taken to the Lampung Regional Police.

The chronology is that on October 9 2023, at around 10 pm, members of the public caught two people believed to be SYH (31), a lecturer at a state university in Bandar Lampung.

The second is sister VO (22), a student at a state university in Bandar Lampung, where members of the community and the Head of the RT, Security, arrested both of them for the crime of immorality, namely sexual intercourse between husband and wife.

"Then, the two perpetrators were taken to the Lampung Regional Police and received directly by the Lampung Police Ditreskrimum Picket Officer, there they were verified, then handed over to Sub-Directorate 4," he continued.

Umi Fadillah Astutik said that these lecturers and students are still undergoing examination at the Lampung Regional Police.

Meanwhile, SYH is a lecturer in madrasa teacher education, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training at UIN Raden Intan Lampung who has contract status.

SYH was raided along with a student with the initials VO at Bahtera Indah Sejahtera Housing, Sukarame, Bandar Lampung, Monday (9/10/2023) at around 21.00 WIB.

Dean of the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty of UIN Raden Intan Lampung, Prof. Nirva Diana, said that SHY and VO were threatened with being dismissed as lecturers and students.

"If the indicator is the highest penalty, you could be fired or dismissed from campus," said Nirva Diana when contacted by Tribunlampung.co.id, Wednesday (11/10/2023).

According to him, the lecturer has contract status. So he could be dismissed at any time.

“He is still under contract. "Because every year contract lecturers must have a report, be assessed or evaluated," said Nirva.

"It is clear, when there are serious violations that involve immorality, students according to the code of ethics with the heaviest punishment are expelled from campus," he added.

"We can't decide yet based on the team's report and are still waiting for the leadership's direction," said Nirva again.

It is said that the campus is still discussing the issue.

"Whatever form it takes, it will come into contact with the rules that must be obeyed by all academics at UIN Raden Intan Lampung," said Nirva.

"It is clear, when there are serious violations that involve immorality, students according to the code of ethics with the heaviest punishment are expelled from campus," he added.

"We can't decide yet based on the team's report and are still waiting for the leadership's direction," said Nirva again.

It is said that the campus is still discussing the issue.
